Craniosacral Therapy in Isleworth & Fulham
A Somatic Approach to Healing Trauma
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a non-invasive, hands-on way of working with the nervous system and the deeper layers of the body where stress, trauma and emotional tension are often held. It focuses on the cerebrospinal fluid and the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord, collectively known as the Craniosacral System.
Many people find Craniosacral therapy especially helpful when talking alone isn’t enough or when they feel stuck in anxiety, overwhelm or chronic tension patterns.
Craniosacral Therapy Regulates Your Nervous System and Unwinds Facia
CST works through a very light touch to detect and manipulate the craniosacral rhythm. This rhythm corresponds to the subtle movement of cerebrospinal fluid which nourishes and protects the central nervous system.
When the nervous system settles, the body can release old holding patterns and the mind becomes clearer, calmer and more spacious. Clients often describe sessions as deeply grounding, restorative and transformative.
Emotional Patterns Live in the Body, CST Helps Them Release
As a Psychotherapist trained in trauma-informed practice, IFS and somatic therapy, I combine Craniosacral Therapy with an understanding of how emotional patterns live in the body. This means the work doesn’t just address physical tension, it supports emotional release, nervous-system regulation and the integration of “parts” of you that may feel overwhelmed, shut down or stuck.
Craniosacral Therapy can be especially beneficial for clients who struggle with overthinking, chronic stress, sleep difficulties, anxiety, burnout or unresolved emotional experiences.
Trauma Informed Craniosacral Therapy & Psychotherapy Combined
For those who want a deeper, more complete experience, I also offer integrated Craniosacral Therapy + Psychotherapy sessions (90 minutes). We begin with around 50 minutes of Psychotherapy which may stir up emotions in the body, allowing the remaining 40 minutes to be used for emotional release and somatic integration during the Craniosacral work.
Many clients find this combination accelerates insight, releases long-held emotional tension and supports more embodied, lasting change.
What to Expect in a Craniosacral Therapy Session
During Craniosacral Therapy, you remain fully clothed and lie on a comfortable massage table, while I work with subtle rhythms and tension patterns through gentle contact at the head, spine, sacrum and other areas. You may notice subtle movements, warmth, softening, pulsations or a deep sense of stillness, all natural responses as your system shifts toward balance. After the session as the body integrates, it’s common to feel relaxed yet alert.
Some people may experience emotional release, while others feel a sense of lightness and increased energy.

Additional Ways of Working
Alongside Craniosacral Therapy, I also offer Individual Psychotherapy and Couples Therapy. While Craniosacral Therapy focuses on the body and nervous system, Psychotherapy and Couples Therapy provide space to explore thoughts, emotions and relationships through conversation.
We can talk together about which approach, or combination of approaches, may feel most appropriate for you.
